With the Year of the Horse approaching, Ngong Ping 360 will bring festive blessings to the Ngong Ping Village with a galloping horse, wishing everyone a prosperous new year! From 24 January to 8 March, 'Ngong Ping 360: Welcoming the Horse with Lucky Horses' will feature lucky horse photo spots throughout the village, including a large installation of blessing horses at the Circular Plaza and a lucky horse blessing fortune wheel. This will gather good fortune from all directions and usher in a more prosperous year! Renowned Feng Shui master, Mak Ling Ling, has specially participated in the design of the new year installation and will be appearing at the Ngong Ping Village on the fifth day of the new year (21 February) to send her blessings and hand out lucky charms and chocolate coins. Don't miss this rare opportunity!
Ngong Ping 360 also offers a 'Double Fun' promotion for guests! During the promotion period, guests can purchase a two-way cable car (standard cabin) ticket at the price of one, valid until the end of March. With this offer, guests can enjoy the new year festivities at a discounted price with their loved ones. They will also receive a lucky charm or a horse year ornament, available for redemption in person at the Tung Chung Cable Car Terminal on a first-come, first-served basis while stocks last.
Adorable Lucky Horses Bring New Year Blessings of 'Five Blessings'
Spin the Fortune Wheel for Luck, Health and Wealth
The large-scale new year installation, 'Golden Horse Brings Auspicious New Year', is located at the Circular Plaza of the Ngong Ping Village. The five horses on the installation are dressed in festive Tang suits, adorned with pink flowers, have red manes, and are saddled with 'Fu' characters, creating a cute and festive image. They symbolize the 'Five Blessings', representing auspiciousness, wealth, health, longevity, and happiness. Three of the horses are seated on the installation with new year blessings, while a small horse is hidden in another horse's mane. Don't forget to look up and greet the giant inflatable horse above the installation, receiving blessings from above!
According to Master Mak Ling Ling, horses symbolize progress, success, and strength. The design of the high platform in the center aligns with the concept of 'step by step to new heights' in the new year, allowing the energy of the horses to radiate in all directions, attracting positive energy and wealth!
Additionally, the Ngong Ping Village features two new year photo spots. The 'Horse to Success Fortune Wheel' located next to the village's entrance arch is decorated with peach blossoms, fortune sticks, and gold ingots, symbolizing luck, health, and wealth. Guests can spin the fortune wheel in the center to bring multiple blessings in wealth, career, and love, amplifying their fortune. The 'Golden Jubilee Fortune Bag Celebrates the New Year' allows guests to step into a giant fortune bag filled with gold ingots and adorable horses, symbolizing 'abundance of wealth and a house full of gold and silver' in the new year! Master Mak Ling Ling explains that the layout of these installations is full of auspicious meanings, gathering abundant blessings and good fortune, making one feel the vibrant positive energy!
